The Trust provides Private Patient Services and offers you access to all the benefits of being treated by dedicated and experienced staff in a comfortable and safe environment, for both emergency patients and planned procedures.

Facilities

Our private patient rooms are situated in the ward areas attached to the specific clinical environments. These rooms offer privacy and the comfort of en-suite facilities, television, radio and telephone and an a-la-carte menu. Your visitors will be made welcome during your stay and comprehensive catering facilities are available to them.

Hospital Staff

Our dedicated and experienced team pride ourselves on our dedication in the pursuit of medical excellence, at the same time providing treatment and intervention in an innovative way. Each patient’s individual needs will be of utmost importance, through attention to detail ensuring that your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Insured Patients

We will invoice your insurance company direct, relieving you of the worry. You are responsible for paying any costs not covered by your insurers. Hospital charges and Specialists’ fees are normally charged separately

Self-Funding Patients

Many patients are choosing to pay for themselves. We will be happy to discuss this with you.

Fixed Price Surgery

For most surgery, the most economical way to is by a fixed cost package, which enables you to know the total cost at the start of your course of treatment. This option offers you the peace of mind of knowing, in advance, what your treatment is going to cost. At your first consultation with your Consultant the planned treatment will be discussed and your Consultant will arrange for a quotation to be sent to you. This quotation will include a breakdown of all services whilst an inpatient, or day-case, including the Consultant and Anaesthetist fees. You will then normally be asked to pay the quoted amount, in full, at least one week prior to admission.

Private Patient Rooms (Amenity Rooms)

Single rooms are sometimes available for patients who wish to have privacy and access to the facilities offered to private patients, without the expense of private healthcare. Your treatment will be delivered under the National Health Service, but you will be charged for the use of the room and additional services. If however during your stay, your room is required for a patient with clinical need, we will have to transfer you into a bay on an NHS ward
